The King Who Walked With His People
In the heart of the Himalayas, under Drukyul’s sky,
A King was born — with wisdom high.
He led with courage, calm and grace,
And built a nation of harmony and faith.
He wore no crown of pride or gold,
But the love of His people, pure and bold.
Through forests deep and rivers wide,
He walked with His soldiers, side by side.
He taught us that progress must walk with peace,
That kindness is power that will never cease.
He showed that true wealth is the heart’s content,
And happiness — the nation’s pure intent.
Long live our Fourth Druk Gyalpo,
